The Department of Social Work, Hatim organised Parents Teachers Meeting on 23rd October,2023 (Monday) at Hatim Auditorium from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The number of participants were 40.

The chairperson for the program was Ms. Malsawmdawngkimi.

The program was started off with Bible Reading and Prayer which was done by Ms. Gracy Lalrinfeli Fanai.

The program had three sessions.

The first session was concerned with Academics and Curriculum.

Mr. R. Lallianzela, Head, Dept. Of Social Work gave an introduction of Faculties and presented detailed department reports.

Mr RTC Lalremruata, Examination Coordinator, presented examination and curriculum concern with the department.

Special item was performed by BSW Female Voice.

Ms. Rebecca LP Lalnunhlui, Fieldwork Coordinator, explained the importance of Fieldwork and the activities involved.

In the second session, group discussion with faculties and parents were held. The discussion was done using Students’ Performance Sheet in which performance were assessed using 10 criteria on the scale of 1-5(poor - excellent). Strength and weakness of the students were also discussed with the parents. In light of the discussion, suggestions on the improvement of the students’ performance were given.

The third session was held for Feedback session in which three parents gave their feedback and share their experiences.

Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Vanlalhmangaihi.

The program was concluded with the Lord’s prayer. The whole program was beneficial and fruitful for both the teachers and the students.
